Project: the use of solution focused techniques by UK educational psychologists

This project aims to explore the use of solution focused techniques by UK educational psychologists.

Project Focus

Previous surveys (e.g. Stobie et al. 2005) indicated that UK EPs have used solution focused techniques widely in their role. Recent literature exploring solution focused technique use by UK EPs is limited. This research intends to explore current use and perceptions of use of solution focused techniques by UK EPs.

How you can participate

If you are an HCPC-registered educational psychologist in the UK, please complete this 5-10 minute online survey with 17 questions.

Any level of solution focused technique use would be welcomed. After completing the survey, you can volunteer to take part in an interview about the use of solution focused techniques in your role.
