SUMMARY:Dynamic Assessment Workshop for EPs
DESCRIPTION:Hampshire & IoW Educational Psychology is pleased to host this workshop. \nProfessor David Tzuriel has an international reputation as a leader in dynamic assessment\, research\, innovation and practice. He has developed a series of tests for use with young children. The four days will introduce participants to these materials and his approach to dynamic assessment. There will be opportunities to see live demonstrations\, receive supervised practice in a local primary school\, hear about recent research and dynamic assessment theory\, and participate in discussion. \nProfessor Tzuriel has made a number of visits to the UK\, and all previous Hampshire-hosted workshops have been oversubscribed. DESCRIPTION:This online self-paced course will guide you through the layers of understanding the concept of executive functions\, how we assess those skills and bring it together in a formulation that makes sense. \nThe course lead Dr Rebecca Ashton is an experienced educational psychologist working in neuropsychology. She has a wealth of experience working with executive functioning issues in school casework and is excited to be sharing her knowledge and understanding in this area. \nThe course is in an eLearning format which can be taken at your own pace (does not need to be competed on the above date)\, and used as a reference guide to come back to over time.
