An exploration of current developments and advancements within educational psychology’ \nThe DECP invites you to attend our 2020 conference to explore the changing needs of children and young people in the 21st century. \nThe conference will bring together leading keynote speakers\, young people and academics\, alongside relevant and practical examples to develop thinking and practice about what educational psychologists can do to facilitate play\, learning\, inclusion and diversity for the children\, families and schools they work with. \nThe event consists of two days of keynote speakers\, workshops\, a dinner and dance\, book launch\, and a drinks reception. \nKeynote Speakers \n•Dr Cora Sargeant\, Educational Psychologist in Wiltshire and Academic and Professional Tutor at the University of Southampton: considering a broader conceptualisation of inclusion to include gender diversity\, gender inclusion and gender inclusive practices for educational psychologists. \n•Talk Out Loud\, young people’s Mental Health participation group: focussing on raising awareness of mental health needs amongst young people and reducing the stigma and discrimination experienced by them. \n•Shooting Stars\, Northamptonshire 13 -25 Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Group\, participating and supporting in consultations and ensuring young people have a voice about issues and services.
