In this one-day online introduction and refresher course\, Cathy Atkinson and Fi Coley\, members of the international Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers (MINT) will offer a lively\, informative and interactive opportunity to explore how to use MI in daily practice. \n\nThe day will include:\nAn outline of the theoretical and research background to MI\nConsideration of the spirit\, tasks and skills involved in MI\nExperiential work\, to develop skills and confidence\nGuidance on the application of MI to EP practice\n\nThe aim of the day will be to allow participants to immediately feel more confident in using MI within different aspects of their EP work. \nThis event is open to Educational Psychologists\, Trainee Educational Psychologists\, and Assistant Psychologists.
