SUMMARY:Trauma and Attachment Network: A critical exploration of attachment and implications for practice
DESCRIPTION:The first Trauma and Attachment Network will be held at The Battleaxes in Wraxall (near Bristol) on 16 April 2018. Further network meetings will be held on Monday 18 June and Monday 17 September. \nEach network meeting will include some input from a professional working within the field of attachment/trauma\, and then time for questions and focused discussion. It will provide a brilliant opportunity to network with practitioners from a range of professional backgrounds. \nAttendance at the network is free although small contributions will be welcomed to cover the cost of the venue and refreshments. You are welcome to stay for dinner afterwards (menu available on the Battleaxes website). \nSession Themes: \n16 April: An Introduction to and Discussion of the DMM Model of Attachment (Richard Devine\, Social Worker) \n18 June: A Critical Exploration of Attachment and Implications for Practice (Dr Will Shield\, Educational Psychologist) \n17 September: Attachment and the Practitioner Self (Dr Rachael Hayes\, Educational Psychologist)
