DESCRIPTION:This webinar will presented during Neurodiversity Celebration Week 2021.\nJoe has recently co-authored a book of the same name\, and will introduce the rationale behind the book as well as why autistic people in particular have expressed the need for it. She will share practical strategies to ensure greater clarity for\, and inclusivity of\, autistic people in everyday communications. By exploring Double Empathy theory\, Joe will discuss the responsibilities allistic people have in better understanding and validating the differences in how autistic people may communicate.
