Black and Ethnic Minority Educational Psychology (BEEP) Network
Aims, vision and purpose
BEEP is a network for trainee and qualified Educational Psychologists with an interest in Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) issues, working with BAME communities, professional issues and educational psychology practice.
The network provides a space to:
- Share experiences and resources from training or work to support other EPs/Trainee EPs practice
- Share information about relevant events and host guest speakers to talk on areas of interest at meetings
- Share research and literature relating to or from BAME groups.
- Take part in peer/group supervision.
- Network or connect with Trainee EPs and EPs from a range of DEdPsy Course Providers and Work Settings.
The BEEP network is a voluntary run group and was cofounded by two trainee EPs and one EP in 2012.

Meet up arrangements
We have at least 3 meetings each academic year (usually the first Friday after school half term in the evening).
These meetings are often at the University College London, Bedford Way Building.
We are also planning to host more online and remote meetings using video platforms. So all are welcome to join us!
