EP Reach-Out webinar – What is eco-anxiety for young people and what helps in school? with Dr Hannah Togneri

25/05/2023 - 16:00 to 16:30

Free

Dr Hannah Togneri is an educational psychologist working in South Wales, who wants to bring environmental care and climate concern into her work.

This webinar focuses on one way she has tried to do this, sharing her thesis study, which used participatory action research with some remarkable young people and supportive school adults to explore what eco-anxiety is for young people in school, and what helps.

She aims to explore:

  • some of the background research,
  • a bespoke version of co-operative inquiry designed for the study, and
  • reflect on what educational psychologists and school staff can do to support their young people grappling with the climate and environmental crises.
