Objectives:
- To increase knowledge of cognitive and developmental psychological research on doing and learning maths
- To increase skills in identifying individual maths needs
- To gain a critical understanding of maths intervention programmes and the related research
- To be more confident to make recommendations for improving outcomes in maths
