Objectives:

  • To increase knowledge of cognitive and developmental psychological research on doing and learning maths
  • To increase skills in identifying individual maths needs
  • To gain a critical understanding of maths intervention programmes and the related research
  • To be more confident to make recommendations for improving outcomes in maths
