There is on-going narrative in education, policy and the media about what children need in returning to school. Is it catch-up? Connection? Perhaps a return to routine?
In this session, Sarah Dove reports the findings of a national survey ‘thinking about school’ that was completed by over 1500 children and young people.
We also take a closer look at the perspectives of children being educated in PRUs, AP, hospital schools and special schools. We also explore the experiences of children with medical needs preventing physical attendance to school.
