Education, emotional wellbeing and the pandemic: Time to reflect, acknowledge and recalibrate with Dr Maddi Popoola, Dr Sarah Wendland & Dr Sarah Sivers

14/07/2022 - 16:00 to 16:30

Free

We feel it is important to take some time to look back and reflect over the past few years and make sense of what has happened as a result of the pandemic. The significant impact COVID-19 has had on children and young people’s development, emotional wellbeing and education needs to be acknowledged in order for the right plans and support to be put in place. We draw upon the Pupil Views research we conducted during the pandemic and share thoughts about ways to use psychological thinking and trauma-informed approaches to recalibrate and look forward with hope.
