EP Reach-Out webinar – Emotionally-based barriers to school attendance support system: What is it and how can it help? with Lucy McLachlan, Louise Jarvis & colleagues

06/07/2023 - 16:00 to 16:30

Free

In this webinar, we will introduce and explore Emotionally-Based Barriers to School Attendance (EBBSA), as we share North East Lincolnshire Council’s EBBSA Support System: a relational, holistic approach to proactively identify barriers to education, improve well-being and support successful engagement with learning. The approach is person-centred, based on positive psychology. Our best hope is that this session will raise awareness of EBBSA and highlight the importance of placing the voice of the child at the heart of the approach throughout solution-focused collaborations.
