CPD Overview
This webinar will focus on the practitioner skills that are necessary for building up one’s skills in the use of dynamic assessment and mediated learning. Using animation and video clips, we will consider how to put the powerful ideas of dynamic assessment into practice and look at the kinds of resources that are available for EPs to help them incorporate the approach into their daily practice.
Learning Outcomes
- Understand what makes dynamic assessment distinguishable and valuable compared to other assessment approaches.
- Understand the key aspects of mediated learning and how these skills can be developed by practitioners.
- Be confident in using resources that are available for gathering valuable information during a dynamic assessment.
- Understand how the information can be reported (or carried forward) in a way that best meets the needs of children and young people with the aim of making a positive difference to their learning.
