Introduction to Circle Solutions – Free training
26/01/2023 - 09:30 to 16:00
FreeThis free one-day Introduction to Circle Solutions is offered by Growing Great Schools Worldwide in collaboration with the MAPP program at Anglia Ruskin University.
What is Circle Solutions?
Circle Solutions is not a program – it is a framework and pedagogy for teaching all personal, social, health and sexuality programs. The ASPIRE principles of Agency, Safety, Positivity, Inclusion, Respect and Equity ensure this is a safe, strengths-based and solution focused intervention. Circles are an ideal way of developing:
- self awareness, knowledge and skills
- knowledge and understanding of others
- a sense of belonging and connectedness
- resilience, increased emotional resources and well being
- collaborative, ethical decision making and conflict resolution
- pro-social behaviour
- problem-solving skills
- and having fun together!
Your Facilitator:
Dr Sue Roffey is a psychologist, academic, author, activist and speaker. She leads the Positive Education module of the Anglia Ruskin University MSc Applied Positive Psychology programme and is also honorary associate professor at University College London and Western Sydney University.
