Masterclass: Therapeutic interventions to reduce the harmful effects of Adverse Childhood Experiences

This one day Masterclass facilitated by Dr Arnon Bentovim Child and Family Training UK, Visiting Professor Royal Holloway, University of London will outline the increasing evidence of the impact of Adverse Experiences of Childhood (ACEs) on the health and well-being of children and young people extending into adult life, and the interventions available to reduce their harmful effects. The course will provide update information from the emerging, evolving fields of ACEs, from population studies, and studies of mental health, maltreatment and offending behaviour.  It will introduce the Modular Hope for Children and Families Intervention Resources, and the way these can be adopted to meet the complex needs of parents responsible for adversity, and children and young people who are affected by them.
