Recovery, re-introduction and renewal: Free webinar to launch new handbook for schools

16/07/2020 - 11:00 to 12:30

Free

Delivered online.

In this webinar, Nottinghamshire EPS and the AEP will introduce and explore a new resource for schools produced by Whole School SEND and funded by the Department for Education:

Recovery, Re-introduction and Renewal: A Handbook for Schools and Educational Settings Following Critical Incidents

Written by educational psychologists, this resource presents five guiding principles of recovery and a graduated response framework for schools to use in planning the return to school at individual, group and whole-school level. It also includes references to practical resources to share with young people, staff and parents. The webinar will introduce the handbook with particular reference to the return to school in light of the coronavirus pandemic and detail how to access these new resources.
