This course will offer you a wealth of ideas for supporting mental health leads.  It will provide you with a toolkit which you can use flexibly to support your schools.  

During the course, guest keynote speaker will address some of the key topics of interest regarding mental health in schools, plus delegates will have the opportunity to delve deeper into particular areas of interest through attending two of the following sessions:

– Self-harm: Issues of prevention and safe practice – Understanding & Supporting Children & Young People through Grief & Loss – Understanding & Supporting Children & Young People who are School Phobic – Understanding Attachment Disorders & Creating an Attachment Friendly Classroom – Managing Exam Stress & Developing Study Skills – Using Tools from Positive Psychology to Build Resilience
