Tomorrow’s teens: Educational psychology in action

The DECP are organising a continuous professional development event in South Wales.

We will be hearing from local and national psychologists and researchers about ways in which we can support secondary school aged children.

In particular, we will be focussing on:

    • enhancing knowledge about the developing teenage brain
    • promoting adolescent wellbeing
    • the role of educational psychologists in understanding and working with children involved in or ‘at risk’ of being involved in gangs
