Trauma and Attachment Network: An introduction to and discussion of the DMM model of attachment

16/04/2018 - 17:30 to 19:30

Free

The first Trauma and Attachment Network will be held at The Battleaxes in Wraxall (near Bristol) on 16 April 2018. Further network meetings will be held on Monday 18 June and Monday 17 September.

Each network meeting will include some input from a professional working within the field of attachment/trauma, and then time for questions and focused discussion. It will provide a brilliant opportunity to network with practitioners from a range of professional backgrounds.

Attendance at the network is free although small contributions will be welcomed to cover the cost of the venue and refreshments. You are welcome to stay for dinner afterwards (menu available on the Battleaxes website).

Session Themes:

16 April: An Introduction to and Discussion of the DMM Model of Attachment (Richard Devine, Social Worker)

18 June: A Critical Exploration of Attachment and Implications for Practice (Dr Will Shield, Educational Psychologist)

17 September: Attachment and the Practitioner Self (Dr Rachael Hayes, Educational Psychologist)
