Introduction to Circle Solutions

Circle Solutions is a framework for social and emotional learning based in the ASPIRE principles:

  • Agency
  • Safety
  • Positivity
  • Inclusion
  • Respect
  • Equity

It gives pupils agency to create a safe, positive and inclusive environment for learning. Participants will understand how this intervention addresses resilience, behaviour and belonging, know how to implement Circles successfully with ASPIRE and embed the learning in everyday interactions.  Evidence says this is effective and students love it. This day is a pre-requisite for the Trainer Training and free for those who go on to do this the following two days.  More in Sue Roffey’s Circle Solutions for Student Wellbeing (Sage, 2014)
