Reed Webinar Series: The delivery of therapeutic work in EP practice

September 29 - 10:00 to 13:30
Free

Therapeutic work in EP practice involves delivering interventions to distressed children, young people, and families.
As schools seek to promote wellbeing and health, including mental health, it is important to have EPS who have the confidence and skills necessary to support schools in this challenging and demanding area (McKay, 2008).

When working in a therapeutic space, it is recommended that EPs draw on the best available evidence-based research, as well as professional experience in the community, to develop evidence-based practice on effective therapeutic work.  This webinar will also explore ethical considerations and potential links to neurodiversity, including autism and ADHD.
