The Home Observation and Measurement of the Environment (HOME) Caldwell and Bradley (1984; 2003) has been extensively utilised across clinical and research contexts and provides a validated and reliable measure of parenting capacity which can be utilised in a wide range of assessments and provide a measure of change.
This one day Masterclass will provide practitioners with; tools to explore the child or young person’s experiences in their home environment; the skills to administer the 24-hour interview; guidance on how to score the HOME and make a quantitative and qualitative assessment of the child or young person’s experience of care in their home environment; an evidential basis for planning interventions and measuring outcomes.
