This Conference will feature a three hour Key Note Talk from Dr Karen Treisman, MBE, and additional workshops. It will help us to understand the meaning of being a trauma informed, infused and responsive organisation and why this is necessary and of benefit to any organisation. It will also provide an introduction to the values, principles and mechanisms required to achieve this. Practical ideas and examples will be discussed to help delegates inform and improve their own work environments and organisational systems.

The day will also feature an additional workshop from a member of our Occupational Therapy Team and break out room activities to provide further insight and specialist perspective on the importance of trauma informed thinking and how to embed this into systemic practice throughout whole networks.
