The Festival of Educational Psychology is dedicated to providing a harassment-free online festival experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion (or lack thereof), or technology choices.
We do not tolerate harassment of festival attendees in any form. Sexual language and imagery is not appropriate during any segment of the conference, including talks, workshops, Q&As, or on Twitter and other online media.
Harassment includes offensive comments related to gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion, technology choices, deliberate intimidation, stalking, harassing, or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, and unwelcome sexual attention. Participants asked to stop any harassing behaviour are expected to comply immediately. Any sponsors, speakers and exhibitors are also subject to this anti-harassment policy.
If a participant engages in harassing behaviour, the conference organisers may take any action they deem appropriate, including warning the offender, or expulsion from the festival with no refund.
If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact a member of festival organising team immediately. You can reach out to the edpsy festival organising team for any incidents related to the festival at festival@edpsy.org.uk, or you can direct message any of the organising team on the day.
The edpsy organising team will be happy to help participants contact any relevant internal or external actors to assist those experiencing harassment to feel safe for the duration of the conference.
We value your attendance.
We expect participants, speakers and sponsors to follow these rules throughout the conference.
