Dyslexia diagnosis, scientific understandings and belief in a flat Earth

31/01/2019 - 13:00 to 17:00

Free

This will concentrate upon the issues behind the House of Lords attack on Warwicks and Staffs EPs practice guidance docs for children with reading difficulties. Issues surrounding the dyslexia debate and how these play out in tensions between researchers and local authority EPs on the one hand, and dyslexia advocacy groups on the other, will be identified and examined.
