Resileince Support Teaching Assistant (RESTA) Conference
Supporting Engagement, Belonging, and Emotional Regulation in Education.
The RESTA Conference 2026 brings together education leaders, wellbeing professionals and practitioners to explore how we can better support young people’s emotional regulation, engagement and sense of belonging within education settings.
Hosted by Brimstone Psychology, the conference will explore the wider psychological context of student engagement and disengagement, drawing on trauma-informed practice, positive psychology and relational approaches to wellbeing. Alongside keynote talks, delegates will take part in interactive workshop sessions demonstrating how the RESTA programme works in practice and how schools and colleges are supporting young people to reconnect with learning.
RESTA (Resilience Support Teaching Assistant) is an evidence-informed intervention designed to support young people who may be struggling with emotional regulation, confidence, motivation and engagement with education. The programme equips trained practitioners to provide structured psychological support within education settings, helping young people build resilience, develop self-understanding and re-engage positively with learning.
The conference will include keynote talks, interactive workshops, networking opportunities and practical insights from practitioners implementing RESTA within their settings.
