This is a 3 day training course:

  • Day 1:
  • Day 2
  • Day 3:

A three day training course for those wishing to develop their understanding of Nurture Groups which can contribute to The Nurture Group Network’s Quality Mark Award

Course aims

  • Understand emotional and social barriers to learning, particularly those related to the impact of attachment relationships and developmental trauma.
  • To equip those who are involved with setting up or run a Nurture Group or Inclusion Support Service for pupils with SEMH needs in Primary, Secondary, and Specialist settings.
  • Receive a copy of the ‘Boxall Profile’ and ‘Beyond the Boxall Profile’ and training in how to use it to assess/intervene for emotional and social needs.
  • Opportunity to complete an assignment following the course to enable certified accreditation.
