Aims, vision and purpose
This group is a private Facebook group.
This is a space for educational psychologists, TEPS and Asst. EPs with lived experience of SEND/neurodivergence.
This may include (but is not limited to):
- Parenting a child with SEND/additional needs/ND
- Being neurodivergent
- Having personal or family experience of SEND
The group is intended as a reflective, respectful space where professional knowledge and lived experience can sit alongside each other. It is not a place for formal advice-giving or case discussion. Instead, it is a space to:
- Share reflections and experiences
- Connect with others who “get it”
- Explore the overlap between practice and personal life.
Confidentiality, respect, and care for one another are essential in this group.
Please note it is a closed group. Membership is limited to qualified or trainee educational psychologists or assistant EPs who identify with the above. EPs etc are very welcome there if this resonates with them.
