Areas of interest I would like to offer mentoring in

I am particularly passionate about systemic work and providing support for members of school staff.

About me

Current role: Educational Psychologist

HCPC number: PYL041191

I have over 17 years of experience working within the education sector. I started my career working as an LSA in a primary school supporting children to understand and regulate their emotions. I then worked as a learning mentor and then senior learning mentor responsible for leading behaviour across the school.

After completing my Conversion Masters in Psychology I spent some time working for CAMHS delivering therapeutic interventions to children between the age of 5 and 18 who had a diagnosis of ASC or ADHD.

Before securing my place on the IOE doctorate programme I worked as an assistant educational psychologist where my primary role was delivering the ELSA training as part of a specialist mental health and well-being team.

My interests as an EP include staff training, systemic work, therapeutic work and staff supervision/drop ins. I am passionate about communicating the full breadth of the EP role.
