John is an Honorary Professor at Queens University, Belfast, and Programme Director of the Doctorate in Educational, Child and Adolescent Psychology (DECAP). He has designed and delivered school-based interventions for war-affected children in DR Congo and Uganda, and has supported schools in N. Ireland in meeting the needs of pupils with refugee and asylum-seeking experience.
